Monché Muller

Monché Muller is the Executive Chef of the international wines label Oddo Vins et Domaines in South Africa, consisting of Pink Valley, Taaibosch, and Le Chant, in Stellenbosch, Cape Town. Her first cookbook, Harvest Table – A Culinary Journey Through the Wine Regions of France, Italy, Spain, and South Africa, is the winner of the 2023 Gourmand “Best International Book” award.

Zola Nene

Zola Nene is a celebrity chef, food entrepreneur and the author of Simply Delicious, Simply Zola and Simply Seven Colours. Simply Delicious, won the best English cookbook by a Celebrity Chef at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards (2017), Simply Zola won the Best in the World TV category at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards (2019), and Simply Seven Colours won the Food & Media Celebrity (English-speaking) category at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards (2023).

HERMAN LENSING

Herman Lensing is one of South Africa’s top food writers, a TV presenter, and cooking host. He is the author of seven cookbooks: Voorskoot, Nog ‘n Voorskoot (In my Kitchen in English), 30, Dit Proe Soos Huis, Nostalgie, and Home Cooking (Huiskos in Afrikaans), as well as the popular food magazines, Herman se Kortpaaie, Air-fryer and 100 Best Biscuits. Dit Proe Soos Huis was shortlisted for the Adult Non-Fiction Title at the SA Book Awards 2020. Huiskos won the Best in the World Celebrity Chef category at the 2023 Gourmand Cookbook Awards 2023.

ISABELLA NIEHAUS

Isabella Niehaus is a chef, entrepreneur, cookbook author and artist. Now based in Riebeek Kasteel, she hosts “Bella’s Table” – themed dinners at local restaurants in the area. She is the author of Isabella’s Mussel Feast, Isabella’s Pork Feast, Duinhuis, won a Gourmand World Cookbook Award in the Entertainment category (2019), and her first vegan cookbook, Daar’s ‘n Vegan op my Verandah/ There’s a Vegan on my Verandah, in collaboration with artist Louis Janse van Vuuren, won the best vegan cookbook in the world at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2023.
